All Scouts going to Summer Camp need to schedule a swim assessment test at the Clippard YMCA. 

Please read carefully:
Scouts are set for Tuesday, May 7th with Kacie and Jaime.  They are able to
test half of our group at 7pm and the second half at 7:30pm.  Every
scout must pre-register and the cost is $5 per participant.  Anyone
that is a member or has been a member should be in the system. 
Anyone that has participated in a Y program as a non-member should be
in the system.  If they have never participated in a program or
attended a Y function, the parent must register as a non-member (its
free), then register their child.  Payment can be made online, or
cash can be brought in.  There's no guarantee that we can make
change.

Delivery will be Tuesday, May 7 and pickup will be available after 1 pm that day. You should text or call Sherri Davidson at 513-505-6833 to give a heads up when you can stop by to pick up your scout's flower order to make sure the order is ready for pickup.

As of now, Tuesday, May 7th starting at 6 pm will be swim tests for all scouts going to Camp Friedlander. We are still waiting for the Aquatics Director to confirm they have someone to help with these swim tests. 

The 2nd deposit of $150 and final payment of $150 for Summer Camp are now due. 
Total cost for Summer Camp at Camp Friedlander 2024 is $475.

All 19 Scouts have been registered and their schedules made. Please make sure to check the prerequisites for your selected Merit Badges. We will have extra copies available at the meetings if needed.

In an effort to keep our camp outs and our scouts safe and secure, we wanted to remind parents (and scouts) that having decent camping gear (better quality) such as tents, sleeping bags, sleeping pads and backpacks is EXTREMELY important when dealing with weather conditions such as lots of rain, wind, snow, or very cold temperatures.

The Merit Badge Counselor list has been updated and is attached below. When you go into the spreadsheet, the tabs at the bottom are labeled "WhitewaterTrails MB's" and "Troop 857 MB's". The Whitewater Trails MB's are those counselors in our District and the Troop 857 MB's has listed all our very own MB counselors! (Remember a Scout is Trustworthy, please do not share this list with anyone to protect the privacy of these volunteers.)
